Creating a brand that is inspired by sea travel
TRAVELS WITH TESA
Travels With Tesa is an NYC-based custom travel planning and consulting business. Tesa’s expertise is in designing thoughtful journeys that lead to transformative experiences. She focuses on independent travel, boutique hotels, history, art, and particularly enjoys seeking out fantastic local restaurants and artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations.
Tesa came to me asking if I could help visually translate her business values and therefore, help launch her brand. Travels With Tesa being Tesa’s own independent business, she wanted to display her name at the core of brand identity. After many different iterations, we’ve settled with a compass brand mark, sleek, minimal typography and neutral, yet high-end colour scheme. The overall look of visual identity translates the feeling of sea-travel, day-dreaming and wanderlust. Final tangible product included designs for business cards and other printed collaterals.
