THE PROBLEM
Lack of real-time financial insights
Many traditional business banking platforms provide delayed or limited financial data, making it difficult for business owners to make timely, informed decisions. Cash flow, spending trends, and financial forecasts often aren't available in real-time, which can lead to missed opportunities or poor financial planning.
Inefficient expense and cash flow management
Tracking expenses, categorizing transactions, and forecasting cash flow can be time-consuming and error-prone, especially without automation. Many small businesses still rely on manual processes, making it harder to keep up with financial records, spot trends, and adjust budgets as needed.
Limited control over team access and permissions
Small business owners often struggle to manage user roles, permissions, and spending limits for their teams. Traditional banking systems may lack granular controls, leaving businesses vulnerable to fraud, unauthorised spending, or operational inefficiencies.
The client was introduced to a powerful, all-in-one dashboard that delivers an immediate overview of finances, real-time events, and key insights - putting essential features at their fingertips.
Users can track income and expenses in real time, gaining a clear, up-to-date picture of their financial health. The dashboard allows them to analyse cash flow trends across different categories and custom time periods, identify potential risks, spot patterns, and plan for the future. Automatically categorised expenses and income provide granular insights into both where the money is going and where it’s coming from. Transactions can be easily searched and filtered by category, date, or reference, making it simple to locate specific financial data quickly and efficiently.
The app also enables users to create custom budgets tailored to their unique business needs, with guidance on setting realistic financial goals based on historical data. Budget performance can be tracked and monitored in real time, helping businesses stay on track and make adjustments as necessary.
Funds and expenses can be allocated into dedicated "pots" for specific purposes—such as taxes or business goals—empowering small business owners to save for the future and plan more effectively.
The app also lets users define and assign roles to team members or individuals, each with custom access levels and permissions. Users can create virtual cards, set spending limits, and control usage permissions—all through a centralized interface that offers a clear overview of roles, users, cards, and activities.
Together, these features offer a comprehensive mobile banking solution, giving small business owners the tools they need to manage their finances quickly and efficiently.
