SETSUNA • BRANDING

Building a jewellery brand that’s inspired by life’s fleeting moments

setsuna is my own handmade sterling silver jewellery brand, rooted in craftsmanship and intention. Working with freshwater pearls, colourful beads and precious metals, each piece is designed to be worn every day and kept forever.

I launched the brand in March 2026 because, after years spent in front of screens, I felt drawn back to working with my hands. Having spent most of my design career in fashion, I've developed a real appreciation for high-quality accessories. At the same time, I struggled to find playful jewellery that was handmade and crafted from sterling silver. So I started making my own, and that's how Setsuna began.

setsuna's branding is bright, colourful, energetic and feminine. The logo uses a handwritten font to create a sense of something handmade and organic.

The brand name comes from a Japanese word meaning a fleeting moment in time. It’s an invitation to slow down and choose pieces that mean something. Each one is a small, wearable reminder of life’s gentle, passing moments - the ones that make it beautiful.

Every piece begins with an idea, inspired by nature, city walks, or the materials themselves. I work slowly, selecting each bead for its colour and energy, refining designs until they feel just right.

I use quality materials because I believe in quality over quantity - a few special pieces you'll reach for again and again, rather than a drawer full of things you never wear. Timeless over trendy. Handmade over mass-produced. That's why all setsuna pieces are made to order to avoid waste.

setsuna is my passion project, and everything - from the logo and packaging to the social media content, online store, and jewellery itself - is designed and made by me.

The Shopify site is simple and easy to navigate. It aims to tell the brand's story and the concept behind the product, while leaning heavily on the brand's bright colour scheme.
